Sad news that
Yves Saint Laurant died late Sunday. He was a true fashion revolutionary and will missed. As many people know, I regularly comment on "
London Underground Fashion Victims" which always got a mixed response - people either love or hate the Tube Fashion Victims (well as far as comments are concerned - they're still my most viewed Flickr set of photos) but I've certainly seen lots of YSL copies and original handbags on the Tube, even if I may not have snapped them.
Last week I saw couple of handbags that were interesting side by side:
There's the "fashion" bag which really smacks as though it's come from a cheap and cheerful market. Then right next to it is the bag made from recycled plastic bottles from Sainsbury's. We discussed green "designer" bags a
Tube fashion victim post a couple of months ago.
Wonder which cost more to make and which cost more in the shops?
